Each and every colleague has a part to play, and Giving for Good month is a great way for us to all come together and work towards our Journey to Tomorrow goal of improving the lives of 30 million people.

All Giving for Good activities should be logged via our Community Tracker. All submissions will be entered into our Giving for Good Awards competition, with winners from each region receiving up to 150,000 IHG One Rewards Points. Winning submissions will be chosen based on their impact, creativity, and overall contribution during the month.

InterContinental Buckhead Atlanta celebrated tonight the City’s SURVIVOR RESCUER REUNION in the Windsor Ballroom. Mr. Willie Hatchett, (in center) an EMT was in this year’s Peachtree Road Race and unfortunately collapsed in front of our Hotel, cardiac arrest. Our Doorman – Mr. Eric McMillian & Mr. David Buissereth – Securty Manager, went directly to Mr. Hatchett, laying on the street pavement with one of the Hotel’s AED units and with others revived Mr. Hatchett so he could be transported to Piedmont Hospital. They all caught Mr. Hatchett in time where he made a full recovery with no side effects. Thank you to our Eric, David & Mr. Hatchett for such a successful 4th of July!! #intercontinentallife #ihggivingforgood #survivorreunion #thankyou #EMT
