Element Cleveland Middleburg Heights (formerly Orbit Industries) has been one of the leading providers to the Non Destructive Testing (NDT) industry since 1965 and offers a wide range of inspection services. We are Nadcap accredited in Ultrasonic Testing, Liquid Penetrant, Magnetic Particle and Chemical Processing and have an extensive history and knowledge of Nadcap requirements . The laboratory has been an integral force in the research and development of NDT inspection techniques for some of the most complex problems created during the manufacturing process

We can accept a wide range of materials, from the smallest configuration through to a maximum of 5 tons. A wide variety of aluminum, titanium, steel alloys, and other metals move through our facilities continuously. We routinely inspect pre-form shapes, sheet, plate, billet, bar, rod, tubing forgings and machined parts. W e test parts such as landing gears, jet engine supports, engine components, and hundreds of other critical parts. We also offer radiographic inspection services.

In August of 2018 Element Materials Technology announced the acquisition of Orbit Industries, Inc., further strengthening the leadership position in non-destructive testing for the aerospace industry.
